WRESTLING INFORMATION
WRESTLING STYLE: An unapologetic high flyer, Kyra’s intention was to spend her time away from the ring trying to adapt to a less full-throttle moveset. In theory. In practice, what happened, is she took moves that SHOULDN’T be high-octane, and turned them into high-octane moves.
MATCH TACTICS: Stick and move, out-pace her opponents, and keep out of range. Kyra has no delusions that she doesn’t want to get into a pure wrestling exchange with most of her opponents. She doesn’t usually cheat, but she has no problem paying in kind if someone tries.
CHARACTER PERSONALITY: Fiery, angry, and arrogant. Kyra used to be something of a white-light in wrestling, almost the cliche of a hero to some extent. Various things were done to her that changed her, considerably--both in and out of the ring. When she fought back, she found she was able to accomplish more, and was happy to explore that; she became the fastest ever grand slam champion in ECWF, and that success made her aware that she wasn’t happy being second-fiddle, or being brushed to the side, as the ECWF was want to do to her. So she left--but the attitude didn’t.
CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Kyra’s a case of a villain that doesn’t enjoy being a villain--she’s a consequence of circumstance. You can only go so far past the line before you put yourself in danger. Kyra doesn’t LIKE that aspect of herself--and, to some extent, she’s trying to deal with it. At the same time, she isn’t prepared to accept being second best anymore, she isn’t prepared to accept mediocrity--and she’s prepared to do whatever she has to do to not be mediocre.
GIMMICK DESCRIPTION: Good Girl Gone Bad -- People who knew Kyra before she joined ECWF will remember her as the kind-hearted, principled revolutionary of Girl Power Wrestling. Those who met her after she became the ECWF World Champion know her as the Great Betrayer. Kyra herself exists somewhere in the middle.
